Safari Bungalows

Our unique safari bungalows are best for a maximum occupancy of two. The comfortable king bed can be configured into a twin share. Each spacious bungalow contains a private ensuite. The majority of bungalows are fan-cooled to maintain our destination’s small footprint, eco ethos. Air-conditioned bungalows are available, and can be requested at time of booking.

Kingfisher Suite

This is the largest of the safari bungalows. The Kingfisher Suite is three times the size, featuring a king-size bed and deluxe swags for the children. An added bonus is a private dining space, for guests who want a more intimate evening dining experience away from Bamurru’s Main Lodge. The Suite shares the signature ceiling-to-floor mesh walls, to immerse in the natural surroundings with wildlife all around.

Jabiru Retreat

Jabiru Retreat is a private, ‘camp within a camp’ experience featuring two safari bungalows connected via a raised walkway leading to an exclusive-use plunge pool. Alongside is an alfresco lounge and dining space with a view overlooking the lush plains that attract abundant wildlife including buffalo, agile wallabies, brumbies and an incredible variety of birdlife including magpie geese and the retreat’s namesake, the Jabiru.
