The name ‘Bouddi’ is believed to mean ‘heart’ in Aboriginal languages. This culturally significant area on the NSW Central Coast has around 100 recorded Aboriginal sites, including rock engravings, grinding grooves, and ancient paintings. Three remarkable rock carvings—depicting a dolphin and two fish—are located just steps from the retreat, offering guests a unique connection to the region’s rich Indigenous heritage, dating back more than 2,000 years.

This area, just across from Palm Beach, offers stunning coastal views. Guests can opt for return airport transfers from Sydney or Newcastle, hire a car, or take a ferry to Wagstaffe. The closest train station is Woy Woy, with a 20-minute taxi ride to Killcare Heights. For a unique experience, guests can fly in by seaplane from Rose Bay, Sydney.
