The cone-shaped paradise is a broad destination that truly offers something for every age, taste, budget or ambition. The region is most famous for its wineries that produce many fine white and red wines that are exported all over the world. The Margaret River flows through the centre of the region, passing the Margaret River Township that is 8km from the ocean.

Although the area is named after this town, it spreads all the way along the coast from a few kilometres south of Busselton, out to Cape Naturaliste and the spreads over an area about 30km-wide down the south coast to Cape Leeuwin, Australia’s most southwestern point.
